WEATHER: Late night snow expected

Cloudy skies this afternoon likely herald the coming of snow as night falls this evening, according to the National Weather Service.

Accumulation of between one and two inches is expected, with much of that falling after midnight. Snow could continue into Wednesday morning as late as 10 a.m. before temperatures climb into the low 40s.

The long range forecast for the area is warning for another snow storm to blow intothe area late Friday night and into Saturday. A hazardous weather outlook issued by the weather service for most of New Jersey as well as Delaware and parts of Pennsylvania states the severity of that storm depends on the development and track of a low pressure system that is currently expected to exit the coast around North Carolina late Friday night or early Saturday morning.

Temperatures today are expected to reach a high of 37 degrees before dropping below freezing once again tonight.
