The new Toras Aharon Hall is located on Summer Avenue in the building of Yeshiva Toras Aharon in Lakewood.
Toras Aharon joins Lake Terrace Hall and Bais Faiga as the primary wedding halls in the town. Weddings are also held at Bais Yaakov Hall and Woodlake Country Club, though those halls have a smaller seating capacity.
With the growth of Lakewood, the opening of the new hall has been welcome news for residents.
Yeshiva Toras Aharon and the new hall were founded by Rabbi Shlomo Chaim Kanarek, well-known baal chessed, maggid shiur and askan, who has established and helped others establish numerous mosdos hachinuch in Lakewood.
Last night’s wedding was attended by many rabbonim and admorim, including the kallah’s grandfathers, the Nadvorna Rebbe of Boro Park and the Dinover Rebbe of Brooklyn, and the chosson’s grandfather, Rav Eliyahu Yehoshua Geldzahler.
Rav Malkiel Kotler, rosh yeshiva of Beth Medrash Govoha of Lakewood, was honored with krias kesubah under the chupah.
